What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is our road map to life. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible written word of God. The Bible is also the ultimate source of truth for Christians to live and believe. Psalms 12:6 Proverbs 30:5-6

We believe that there is one living and true God who eternally exists in three persons; The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three are equal in power and glory.

God the Father

He is the spiritual and personal being and ruler of the universe. God is all-powerful and all-knowing, and His perfect knowledge extends to all things past, present and future. To Him, we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. He desires a deep personal relationship with each of us.

God the Son, Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only son of God. He was sent by God. By the power of the Holy Spirit, he was born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless human life and was offered as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world by dying on the cross. He rose three days later and conquered death, hell, and the grave. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right of the Father. One day he will split the Eastern skies and claim us as His bride upon His return.

God the Holy Spirit

God has sent the Holy Spirit to be a Christian’s source of comfort, strength, and guidance. The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with empowered living and enables the understanding of spiritual truths. The Holy Spirit has the power to convict, transform, and convert. As Christians, we seek daily to live under His control. John 16:7-13

If asked with a truly repentant heart, we believe that salvation is a free gift from God. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and it is through Him alone that we are saved. It is only by trusting in Jesus Christ and turning from our self-seeking ways that we are saved by grace through faith. Salvation is immediate upon asking Jesus into your heart and life.

We believe that marriage is the uniting of one MAN and one WOMAN in a covenant committed for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church. God provides for the man and the woman a Biblical framework for intimate companionship, sexual expression, and the means for procreation of the human race. We believe the Lord forbids homosexual practices and therefore, do not perform same-sex unions nor do we permit these unions to be performed on the premise of Crosspointe Biker Church.

We believe that God is the source of all blessings, both temporal and spiritual; all that we have, and all that we are is because of Him. Because of our debt to God, we are under obligation to serve Him with our time, talents, and with our treasures. Christians should contribute our means regularly, with a cheerful heart and grateful attitude. We believe the Bible instructs a ten percent tithe from all of our earnings.

We believe the Bible teaches us that there are two things Jesus instructed us to do that would help us to remember what He did, and identify us with Him:

A symbolic act whereby a Christian is immersed (covered) in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Baptism is an outward profession of faith to an inward event in the life of an individual.

Lords Supper

A symbolic act of obedience where Christians partake of bread and juice (fruit of the vine) in remembrance of the death of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The act itself demands reverence, humility, and a full understanding of Christ’s sacrifice
